Kitchen & Laundry Inspiration

by Natalie Phillips
Selections Coordinator, J Marshall Constructions

Jody & I recently attended Polytec’s new Colour Range launch – the colours are stunning!

Colour can often scare us and when designing a Kitchen or Laundry we tend to gravitate to neutrals and “safe” colours. Taking their inspiration from nature, Polytec have introduced a colour palette that conveys wellness and comfort using natural tones.

Described as “Botanical colour-infused neutrals”, the new range cleverly brings the outdoors in, connecting us with all the other elements surrounding our home. From cool to warm greens to calming blues and off-white tones, the new colour-infused neutrals will certainly appeal to most.

I also love that this colour palette pairs beautifully with timbers and stone. Polytec have also launched new colours in both these ranges.

When considering your joinery, the use of timber tones adds a layer of warmth and interest. It can be a subtle use in overheads only or used on an entire feature wall of cabinetry. You can then use this perhaps to continue the theme into an entertainment unit or study desk. The new range allows you options to mix and match a traditional timber look or a softer, lighter tone to compliment the new blues & greens from the solid range.

To complete the launch, Polytec have introduced 9 new stone patterns. Providing a durable and affordable alternative to real stone or marble, the range cleverly incorporates varieties of subtle veining, limestone look and even terrazzo-style – my new personal favourite!

As part of your creative and inspiration journey, I strongly recommend you take the time to visit the team at The Polytec Selection Studio at Charmhaven. The products are beautifully and conveniently displayed. Take with you samples of any other selections you may have made such as flooring, so you can work with the team to create your “story” ensuring all your selections complement each other.
