Jody grew up on the Central Coast and developed a passion for construction by spending many hours on site with his grandfather, a skilled local builder. Now with over 25 years’ experience, Jody has an exceptional eye for detail and accepts nothing less than a superior level of craftsmanship.

Jody’s depth of knowledge in residential construction is apparent and considers his fundamental roles are ensuring quality of build, knowledge of up-to-date construction practices and personal, honest one-on-one communication.

As a local builder’s daughter, Rene developed her love for the building industry from a young age, leading her to study in the architectural design field. Her enthusiasm, interior design flair and passion for the industry led Jody Marshall to approach her in 2002 to partner in starting a new residential construction company – J Marshall Constructions.

After almost 20 years, Rene remains with J Marshall Constructions as our principal building designer. She relishes in the challenges each new project presents. She is committed to providing a bespoke service for each client that embraces the latest trends and technologies, and the unique characteristics of your location and lifestyle.

Natalie Phillips

Selections & Compliance

As Jody’s partner, Natalie was introduced to the world of Residential Construction in 2010. After a successful 20-year career in Human Resources, Natalie was inspired by Jody’s passion and drive to join the JMC team in mid 2019. Her key function is to guide clients through the “Selections” process. This involves all the finishes such as tapware, tiles, floor finishes, paint choices, window coverings and even your appliances. Considering these “finishing touches” in collaboration with the design and building processes is just one of the qualities that enables J Marshall Constructions to deliver such high-quality results.

Jenny emigrated from the UK in 2002 and commenced her career within the Australian construction industry. She joined the J Marshall Constructions team in 2015 and as well as providing essential day to day support to Jody, Jenny is your “key contact”. From your initial introduction to the business, to contracts, council liaison and payments, all the way through to handover day. Jenny’s wealth of knowledge, efficiency and infectious positivity will enhance your experience with J Marshall Constructions.

Rachel Lange

Accounts and Administration

With a proven background in administration and accounts, Rachel joined the J Marshall Constructions team in 2016. Rachel drives all “back-of-house” functions including accounts, ordering, payments, contractor schedules and special projects. Working closely with Jody, Rachel ensures the schedule of works runs to time and assists with the day-to-day running of the business.
